Research overview

Graham Turnbull’s research interests are focused on photonic applications of soft materials, including organic semiconductors, plastic lasers, chemical sensing and nanophotonics.

Current research activities include the development of miniature organic and perovskite lasers, explosive vapour sensors, nanoimprint lithography , hybrid optoelectronics, photophysics of organic semiconductors, visible light data communications, and strong coupling in organic materials.
